Course: Repeatable and consistent Natural DMT release

Does your brain produce DMT?
The short answer is yes but there is some nuances to address I feel based on the times we live in.
This question is usually asked by the spiritually uninitiated or the ‘materially’ minded person (often citing the ‘scientific view’) who is unfamiliar with the full extent of reality. People who ask this question are either materialist and won’t change their mind easily until they ‘see evidence’ in the form of ‘double blind, placebo controlled study’ or are simply not yet aware of such things.
Note, there won’t be evidence to their liking – that is sort of the point of them asking. All the evidence is ‘anecdotal’ to them. What they don’t realise is that an anecdote is one datapoint – if they were collect all the anecdotes they would have a dataset they could use in a study but they don’t actually want to study it they want to use the lack of a study to ‘prove’ that you are wrong.
The typical materialist response is “DMT is not produced in the brain” and if they are somewhat knowledgeable they will say ‘We have to be reasonable, it is produced but it isn’t in enough quantities to hallucinate‘**.
Well, today I present to you a reliable method to produce DMT which could be used by the spiritual adept who cares not for the materially minded ways of some neigh sayers or if someone of this nature wants to take the reproducible method described here and create their own experiment based on it then perhaps they can be the first to prove that it is true and scientifically repeatable. They won’t but it is possible – they just done want to otherwise they would not have the ability to cite the lack of a study as evidence DMT is not produced in significant levels in the human brain.
** Hallucinating is not necessarily the goal or causative factor in relation to healing or spiritual progression from psychedelics. Hence when someone says ‘the levels are too small to hallucinate’ it means they don’t know much about psychedelic use or are deliberately muddying the waters. Small doses, that do not induce hallucinations, can be extremely effective at all sorts of things. In fact this is what the whole ‘micro dosing’ movement is about and can be used as evidence that hallucination is not necessarily the goal.
How can one cause the production of DMT in the human brain?
This is actually quite simple and the short answer is with a little knowledge of,
- Basic Astrology to time the production in any given month. You will be able to produce DMT for between 2-7 days a month, every month with the methods described in this post.
- Knowledge of the specific Diet (Alkaline) with which to use to effect a greater release,
- and with the use of specific practices like meditation, breath work and a plethora of others as suits your taste.
I will explain in full in this post but first a small aside to cover spiritual practices which claim (I believe them by the way) to be able to illicit DMT in their methods. For example certain breathing and meditation techniques.
Breathing and meditation techniques to cause DMT release:
I don’t have a lot of experience with breathe work or meditation techniques for the specific purpose of producing DMT in the brain but I do not doubt that it is possible and I’m sure ardent practitioners are able to do this but it seems to me, from reading online, that it is somewhat hit or miss.
If it isn’t hit or miss then it seems to me a difficult state to reach easily and advanced practitioners spend a lot of time getting there. If I am wrong about these assumptions please forgive me. This is my point of view at the time of writing and I’m willing to be proven incorrect. Drop a comment below if you would like to disagree with me.
I mention these techniques because with the method I describe below these practitioners could make DMT production very simple, repeatable and highly, highly effective as additional ‘tweaks’ to their existing process. This is because these practitioners, if they are able to do this with meditation or breath work alone, will have even greater success when combined with the knowledge*** in this post and described below.
***Note: I did not discover this knowledge originally but I did spend about a year getting very good at the techniques so I can share information from experience.
How can one repeatably and reliably illicit DMT production in the human brain?
As I mentioned above the short answer is,
- Basic Astrology to time the production in any given month. You will be able to produce DMT for between 2-7 days a month, every month with this method,
- Knowledge of the specific Diet (Alkaline) with which to use to effect a greater release,
- and with the use of specific practices like meditation, breath work and a plethora of others as suits your taste.
So, let’s go through each of them.
Astrology to time the DMT production:
DMT production in the human being is timed with the Astrological Phases of the Moon. This is information I got about a year or so ago when I was first starting to learn about these cycles. I probably read that online someplace but I don’t have specific place where I read that sorry. Based on my own experience of 12 or so of these DMT Cycles back to back – DMT production in the human is indeed in synch with the phases of the Moon. I can feel it during these cycles. Which phases you ask?
Lunar Phases:
The Moon, as it traverses the sky, moves through different celestial houses (Cancer, Leo, Libra etc etc) and when the Moon is in your particular astrological Birth House this is the time that your body will produce DMT.
I should say this is the time that your body will attempt to produce and propagate DMT in your body because it isn’t a given that it will do so successfully. In fact, it probably won’t unless you keep reading the rest of this article as I tell you how to make sure it does get produced and propagated using diet and practice.

To more exactly understand the timings you can,
- Learn what Astronomical house you were born under. You likely know this already. For eg, perhaps you are an Aquarius born between January 19 to February 18. Note this down for the next steps.
- NB: there are 2 Astrological Systems in common use. The ‘Western’ and the ‘Vedic’ (ie Sidereal) and your house is different in each of them.
- Find an Astrological Calendar which tells you when the Moon is in your Astrological House exactly. Every month there will be 2-3 days when this occurs. Every month of your entire life.
- During that period of time adjust diet and practices (described below) to illicit a much more effective DMT release during this period of time.
- I want to reiterate that these DMT releases happen each and every month of your life so you have an endless and free more or less way to upgrade spiritually built into your biology.
Some interesting background on Astrology and DMT production (optional reading):
This section is optional – skip to the next section on Diet if you just want to the method alone.
All of the below info in this section is to say this: The Universe is very deliberately created, people have known that for millennia and modern science has also confirmed some of this knowledge partially.I think this explains at a high level why it’s plausible that when the Moon is in a particular phase DMT is produced in the human.
You see at the end of the day the Universe is very very deliberately designed. What I’m about to tell you will perhaps shock some of you. Your brain’s ability to produce DMT is optimal at certain phases of our Moon.
If you would like a little background on why this is I can only provide some as to my understanding. The basic answer is that in Vedic spiritual knowledge the celestial bodies should be thought of like the Chakras in our physical bodies. From a Vedic point of view Chakras filter and attract and tune certain energies present in the universe. Planetary bodies are believed in Vedic knowledge to do the same thing but at a larger scale. the scale of Solar Systems, Galaxies and ‘Mega Structures’.
Mega Structures are what modern Astronomers call the larger celestial structures with which our galaxy (The Milky Way) revolve around. Yes, our galaxy revolves around a yet greater Galaxy known as a Mega Structure just as the Moon revolves around the Earth and the Earth around the Sun. The scale of the universe is gargantuan!
If you would like evidence of these claims then I suggest you to look in 2 places:
Sri Yukteswars book ‘The Holy Science’:
Which makes such claims in chapter 1. He calls this ‘Mega Structure’ the ‘Galactic Sun’ however.
This book was written in around 1890 in India (near Calcutta I believe). Sri Yukteswar comes from a very impactful (Kriya) Yoga lineage that is directly connected to Mahavatar Babaji (who comes to Earth without the need of being born) through Lahiri Mahasay as he was Yukteswar’s master.
The lineage goes like,
- ‘Mahavatar Babaji ‘ -> ‘Lahiri Mahasaya’ -> ‘Sri Yukteswa’ -> ‘Vivekananda’.
- You may be familiar with some of Vivekananda’s students in modern times like Nicola Tesla who took a lot of inspiration on his fundamental understanding of energy in the Universe from Vivekananda. He taught in the United States around the turn of the 18th into 19th century.
Modern Science’s understanding of ‘The Galactic Sun’ or ‘Mega Structures’:
Modern science in 2012 confirmed a very similar set of ideas declaring that our Galaxy revolves around not one but two Mega Structures. They said, if I have understood that, The Milky Way revolves around a large Megastructure and that that Megastructure revolves around yet another larger Megastructure. One of these Megastructures, I believe, will be the ‘Galactic Sun’ that Yukteswar wrote about.

Note: I believe I have understood the modern science view correctly but if I have made a mistake please make an argument for why I hav made an incorrect assessment in the comments.
Alkaline Diet & Fasting to make more effective the DMT:
Fasting:
Ideally you should fast through the Natural DMT Cycle of 2-3 days every month (see note below for women specifcally). If this is abnormal for you then feel free to ease into it and even do a shorter 24 or 48 hours fast. I have done the full 72 hour fast and it does indeed make it much more effective but it isn’t strictly necessary.
If you don’t do it you will still release DMT but I don’t think it will be as much as if you didn’t fast. The timing of the cycle, the diet and the practices all work in aggregate to make for a stronger experience. If you don’t fast or do one of the other aspects then you will either decrease the effectiveness of the cycle (but still have some effect) of if you vary too far from these practices may cut the process off completely. Over time you can find a balance of things which work for you as you practice the cycle several times.
NOTE: For women fasting for long periods is usually not recommended so please be careful with this aspect. This is because women have different hormonal needs than men and therefore require food more frequently. Intermittent fasting might be a better option for women as they can fast 12-16 hours a day and try to balance the ‘boost’ fasting can give but also to eat regularly.
Alkaline Diet:
The acidity of the body in the days leading up to and during the Natural DMT Cycle (aka Christ Oil cycle or Inner Alchemy in some schools of thought) greatly affects the bodies ability to both produce the DMT and let it move freely around your system.
In those traditions that practice ‘Christ Oil Cycles’ or the natural release of DMT it is believed that during the 2-3 days when your body is producing DMT it is first produced (in the Pineal Gland having been stimulated by the Claustrum and production of Cerebrospinal Fluid in the Claustrum) and then propagated around your body. It is said to travel down on side of your spine and up the other over the course of the 2- 3 day period when The Moon is in your astrological birth house. It is this process that, if allowed to happen through following the tips in this post, will illicit the DMT like insights and spiritual experiences that are possible during this cycle.
It is believed, and I can confirm, that the acidity of the body matters greatly when these cycles are occurring. If we are not eating the correct foods both during the cycle and ideally a few days beforehand then DMT production will not be anywhere near as great or perhaps not at all. Be very strict with your diet to aide production.
In order to make the body ‘not acidic’, also known as ‘Alkaline’, we can eat from what is known as (funnily enough) an Alkaline Diet. An Alkaline Diet removes animal products completely for the duration of the cycle and a few days either side and contains only foods and liquids which promote an alkaline state in the body. An example might be, to remove coffee or pineapple because they are acidic but technically not animal products. Fruit and vegetables and drinks even if not derived from animals should also be excluded.

There are enough recipes for 1 week of eating an Alkaline Diet. This alone will probably save you 10 hours of research.
Spiritual practices to ‘ignite’ the experience of the DMT:
In addition to understanding the timing of a natural DMT cycle (astrological timing of The Moon) and making a suitable environment for the DMT to propagate around the body (alkaline diet) you can further enhance these natural DMT cycles by making sure your practices and lifestyle during the cycle (and ideally a few days either side as well) are full of spiritually beneficial practices.
NB: This is where practitioners of Psychotropic Breathing or Kundalini Yoga or similar DMT producing methods will be able to really excel in their DMT production because these techniques, if done properly, are already very effective and with the addition of diet and astrology they will become even more so.
Here are some things I like to do but you may have different preferences:
- Not too much socialising. The insights I get on these cycles come across like intuition and for a few days a month I prefer to just have a lot of alone time so I can be ‘closer to’ these insights or more easily have them ‘come through’.
- For this reason, I take long walks on the beach or forest for a few hours each day and listen to or read spiritually based information or books. The DMT really starts to ‘pop’ for me when I do this.
- If you have Yogic, breathing or meditation practices you do normally this is a great time to double down on them and really take advantage of each of these cycles with practices which are known to illicit or aide the production of DMT.
In saying all of this with regard to lifestyle changes during one of these cycles I would also recommend that you don’t have to be completely alone. These cycles have the great advantage of not needing us to travel or leave our families or spend a lot of money and hence can fit in with our schedule and life much more easily. Maybe for you it is enough to just keep the diet and do your normal life during these times. It’s really up to you and that is a very very great thing about using these natural cycles.
