Preparation for Drinking Ayahuasca (6 days) including Integration

Prepare and integrate for your next Ayahuasca Ceremonies in the same tradition that I learned from 9 Ayahuasca Ceremonies in the style of Shipibo Ayahuasca Traditions of Peru.

Course Description:

  • 1.0 Introduction & Course Aims: These are some notes on course aims and length, cultural paradigms and spiritual development.
    • 1.1 Who should Not drink Ayahuasca: Ayahuasca is not for everyone and so before we get started I want to first make sure people who take this course further understand if it is safe for them personally. Note: not medical advice.
  • 2.0 Biological background to Ayahuasca: What is in Ayahuasca Tea and how does it affect our bodies. In addition how does this biological effect lead to Neural Development and Spiritual Progress.
    • 2.1 Dieta (Food/drink): In order to prepare for Ayahuasca safely and effectively our diet needs to alter before and after drinking. Here I run through what foods and drinks to avoid and to promote.
    • 2.2 Energy Dieta: A comprehensive Dieta also involves removing ‘negative aspects’ from our Mental Diet of influences and replacing them with ‘positive influences’. The influences effect our energy body and so does drinking Ayahuasca so for best results we’ll learn how to optimize these aspects.
    • 2.3 Creating intentions for the ceremonies: Just like in life our goals can be guided by our intention and an Ayahuasca Ceremony is no different in that respect. Here we learn how to guide our ceremony to our question, emotion or particular area of development.
    • 2.4 Example 3 day Preparation (& Integration) schedule: Ayahuasca preparation can be quite up turning if you are following all these rules. Here is an example of what a 3 day schedule (with meals) may look like for someone preparing for Ayahuasca.
    • 2.5 Reading/Listening List: One aspect of the Mental Dieta is replacing ‘analytical’ and Ego Boosting type reading and listening material. In order to help you with a successful preparation I’ve suggested some books and audio/video you may like to use to replace.
  • 3.0 The actual day of the ceremony: By this time we have prepared very thoroughly and now we can more or less relax into our ceremony knowing we have prepared well. Here are some ways to prepare through the day of your ceremony.
  • 4.0 Integration of your experiences and how to do it: Integration is a hard topic to pin down and varies by individual but here we discuss how to go about integrating your experiences. It starts with continuing The Dieta you’ve already learned about.
